Join me and Bo for a Tea and Weaving Women’s Circle on Saturday 24 April 10am-1pm ($50 for women who have attended before and would like to continue the weaving they started – message me for the coupon code)
In this circle you will receive a weaving starter kit. We will hold these circles once a month so you can bring your weaving from the previous circle to continue creating your basket. If you come again if you’re weaving for another circle you will get a discount on the price. Please message me for the discount code.
I have been holding online weaving classes which have been selling out fast and we feel it is important for women to come together especially at this time of change in history to connect and immerse ourselves in the wisdom of tradition, herbs and weaving.
Weaving in a circle is a powerful way for us connect to each other and nature. We will discuss how to energetically clear space as you weave and why weaving is seen a beautiful practice in many traditions and cultures.
Tea has amazing health benefits but always allows its us to relax, open up and share their vulnerabilities. Weaving is a natural complement, allowing participants to focus their intention and energy into exploring, healing and letting go of whatever thoughts and feelings arise within the group, but still giving individuals clarity and insight into themselves.
Weaving whilst drinking tea allows us to leave the busyness of the world behind and just be present at the moment to what is, giving us space to breathe, process and integrate.
Coiled basket weaving is a technique shared by most Indigenous cultures all around the world. Desert-Rain has learned this technique from many teachers and will share some of the simple steps to enable you to make your very creation weaved with the energy of the circle.
